Municipal councils, administrators and ratepayers have a key place to contact for service from the Ministry of Highways.

Council has requested ratepayers refrain from pushing snow from their private properties across and/or onto municipal roads, in accordance with Bylaw No. 5/19.
Snow ridges are dangerous to the patrol operators and to the travelling public.
Anyone who contravenes Bylaw No. 5/19 is subject to Bylaw No. 3/13 (Penalties for Contravention of Bylaws) and will be held accountable for the cost of the cleanup.
Rate payers could also be held liable if someone is injured due to the snow piled on the road or road allowance.
